Street Fighter X Tekken Two more teaser
Capcom has released another two character teaser trailers for Street Fighter X Tekken. The first one is pretty obviously Heihachi. But Capcom's playing with us on the second one. We vote Rolento because of the yellow clothes, boots and gloves. But that snapshot of a basketball and hoop has some pointing to Sean. Who would you say it is? If you're more interested in gameplay that all this teaser malarkey check out these two videos showing off some of the new characters and how to do their special moves. Mike Jackson

Need For Speed The Run trailer reveals 91
Here's a new trailer revealing the new Porsche 911 Carrera S racing along mountain roads in Need For Speed The Run.According to EA's blurb, it's got around 500hp and 800 lbs of torque. That sounded ridiculous to us so we checked Porsche's official website, which says it's got 400hp and 325 lb.-ft.So since we're making shit up, EA, let's just say it has a jet engine and can get to 756mph in three seconds. And cook you egg on toast. You will only be seeing this car in your garage if you grab the Limited Edition version of the game. It joins the stunning Lamborghini Aventador and the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 as perks for your extra cash. It's out on November 17. Mike Jackson

MS issuing Xbox Live bans for 'Marketplac
Microsoft is issuing bans permanent Xbox Live bans to customers accused of "Marketplace theft". While numerous users affected by the ban hammer have protested their innocence, the platform holder insists it has "clear evidence" to back up its allegations.MS said in a post on the Xbox Support forums: "During the course of a recent investigation, we have discovered users who illegitimately accessed Xbox Live Marketplace downloadable content."Our investigation reveals that this access was intentional and not accidental, constituting a blatant violation of the Terms of Use for the service. We will not divulge additional information regarding individual suspensions for these offenses."Please know that we are being very careful regarding these suspensions, and have clear evidence regarding each account issued a permanent suspension from the service," it added. "We apologise for any frustration or confusion resulting from our inability to share individual details, and thank you all for your cooperation in this matter."This could well be related to a glitch in the Xbox Live Rewards programme last month which dished out 1000s of free Microsoft Points to users. At the time, Microsoft sent out mixed messages to those who had received account credit, initially telling them to "enjoy" the points before saying they were being recalled. Tom Ivan

Square responds to Deus Ex 'racist' contr
Square Enix has responded today to reported racial controversy surrounding a character in its latest sci-fi stunner, Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Despite gaining widespread praise for its excellence, the game has apparently come under the spotlight today for allegations of inappropriate racial stereotyping in regards to an African-American character in the game - an NPC known as Letitia the Trash Lady. Lead character Adam Jenson encounters the woman digging through bins in the street before she asks him for money in what's being referred to as 'slave-era dialect' (video below). Square has issued an official response to GamesRadar in response to questioning over the matter: "Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a fictional story which reflects the diversity of the world's future population by featuring characters of various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds," said Square. "While these characters are meant to portray people living in the year 2027, it has never been our intention to represent any particular ethnic group in a negative light."Read this praising Deus Ex: Human Revolution review to find out what really matters - why you need to buy it right now. Video interview BioWare on making Mass E
Mass Effect 3's associate producer Michael Gamble sat down to talk with CVG at GamesCom to discuss the series finale, which will see the return of an RPG emphasise. One way of delivering this is giving more weight to the relationships in Mass Effect 3 through subtle non-verbal character traits and communication, he said."We want to be able to accent eye movement a little bit more. Subtle movements in the face give away a lot," said Gamble. "That's key to story-telling. Obviously most people know, when you're communicating with someone, the non-verbal cues are just as important if not more important than the verbal cues. We want to bring those to life more."We think that we've actually pushed that a little bit further with Mass Effect 3," he continued. "There's obviously a whole plethora of things we could do given enough time with movies and CG animation. We just want to keep moving down that path." Watch in HD No comments yet, be the first! Limited Zelda Skyward Sword bundle has g
Nintendo has revealed a limited edition Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword bundle that will pack the game with a sweet-looking Zelda-themed gold Wii Remote Plus. The remote has a shiny gold body, gold d-pad and 'A' buttons and the Zelda royal crest printed over the speaker area of the remote. It includes Wii MotionPlus functionality built-in, and will come as part of the limited $70 bundle (pictured). Not bad for an extra $20. Nintendo is also giving away a free soundtrack CD with every copy of Skyward Sword in the initial production run - in both the limited edition bundle and the standalone game. As Nintendo explains: "As an additional 25th anniversary treat for fans who purchase the game early, every copy in the initial production, whether sold by itself or as a part of the limited-edition bundle, will come with a free CD featuring select orchestral arrangements of iconic music spanning the history of the franchise which will be performed at The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony Concert performances in October 2011."The bundle hits US shelves when the game launches there on November 20 - two days after UK's recently-confirmed November 18 release. The PR made no mention of a similar deal in UK. Mike Jackson

Nintendo sued over Wii Remote technology
Nintendo has been sued by technology firm ThinkOptic for allegedly knowingly infringing on one of its patents. The patent in question manages to make the Wii Remote sound like the dullest object in the world. It describes "electronic equipment for handheld vision based absolute pointing system". ThinkOptic claims Nintendo knew (or should have known) ahead of time that it would be infringing on the patent with the release of the Wii.Two other patents are also mentioned in the case, one describing a "Handheld Device for Handheld Vision Based Absolute Pointing System" and another outlining a "Handheld Vision Based Absolute Pointing System".With the above in mind, ThinkOptic has claimed that Wii U will also infringe on its patents. It's not been a good morning for Nintendo, particularly if rumours of troubled Wii U development prove to be true.
