Ribs stored in a freezer set at 0 degrees F will maintain taste and quality for four to six months. Step 1
Keep ribs in the original package. This will keep the meat from drying out.
Step 2

Plan ahead. It may take 24 hours or more for the ribs to thaw in the refrigerator.
Step 4
Use meat within five days of thawing. Rift Gold Ribs, either pork or beef, that go directly from the freezer to the refrigerator, will maintain quality and safety for an additional five days in the refrigerator.
Tips and Warnings
You can also thaw ribs in cold water or the microwave, but both can adversely effect the quality of the meat. Ribs that have been thawed in the refrigerator can be refrozen safely. Meat thawed in the microwave or in cold water should be cooked before being refrozen.
